I was going thru my backup drive to clear space (doing a little housekeeping) and I found this original version of 'Can Feel Change Now', a song that did not make the simpletonguru CD..now as I listen to it I keep thinking 'how could this not make it?'

It's raw tracks, by that I mean we all did our parts once, but we never went back and redid any parts because the song didn't make the cut list for the CD. We also never did any editing, doubling, improvements, etc.  I think on this one I was just doing backup vocals and keys.. hard to remember since we did it once and left it behind.
I think it's a strong song.. anyone else have any comments?

It's in this section because it was recorded by sending the vocals thru a Behringer MX602, and everything else thru a Peavey 12 channel mixer and then sending the submixes to a patchbay that was hooked up to a Delta 1010lt soundcard feeding Powertracks Pro Audio (version 9 I think)..it was one of our first recordings at Barry's studio.

Strong song, Bob.

Nice harmony vocals on your part, and a very expressive vocal performance from Barry.

If you wanted to go through the tracks, give the percussion a bit of reinforcement, and EQ/reverberate the rest, this puppy would win a blue ribbon.

Oren.

Thanks Oren. I guess it's a good one to have in our back pocket for the next CD..
hadn't thought of that song in quite a while.

Great song Bob!

Strong harmonies, great lead vox, fantastic guitars and super mix.

This is a winner - MarioD

Agree with all the above, but would add it's a very 'comfortable' song both to listen to, or just have as background.
