Hi,
Freeztar, Xander and i did a collab for this month's kaviar contest. The topic was free. So, our song's about a healing seabreeze, about respiration. Keith (Freeztar) gave the frame, i did melodic enhancements and the lyrics and Alex (Xander) sang with his wonderful voice.
Freeztar: Drums, Percussion, Piano and Synth (Stringtheory) Mellotronaut: Harp, Acoustic-guitars, Bass (Sampletank) and Synths (StringZ, Modelonia, Tripple-Cheese) Xander: Vocals
Have fun!

Woow ! This has a weird feel, it has effects and that particular ambience on voice that make it sound as we're all on the beach It's a very original thing, there are many good melodies in it, and uncommon arrangements, I like it very much. The bass, for example, it's really strange, a nervous style, bur works well. Congrats to all of you Cheers

A big huggie to you, Laguna! Yeah, we wanted to have this breeze and beach-feeling...the bass should be the pebbles beneath the feet... . m

Lovely song guys. The chords fit perfectly the lyrics and the whole mood. I'm happy to hear Alex in something different than I expected. The harp is fantastic. Love the lyrics too. Very much!!! Oh, I dig the photo @KVR submission thread. Congrats Karin. If I had to criticize something: I'd like more depth in the mix. Everything's clear and in your face but I'm missing the third dimension (or was it the fifth? - let the sunshine in Chris )

Thanks a seahorse, Nik ! the mix...i know, you had to say something about the mix after my Max' mourning. I have three more final mixes here and you can get it too ( the second file i have has the depht you'd like to hear: it's more homogenic and everything is smoother), but i tell you (and Karin can second that), it was such a hardship to get the vocals into the song (and now they sound well integrated, mate!)...i won't do any other mix than the ones i did, because i love the song and i don't wanna hate it finally. cheers! Chris

Lovely song, Chris. Now I see why you were so happy when I found those waves! I love the combination of sounds, with Alex doing his Chris Rea voice. You could have had a 'real' whistle in there instead of the synth one, if you had asked! James

Hi James, yeah, i was quite happy, when you pointed me to the link with the soundFX...there where exactly the files, i was missing The whistle ...i don't know, why my ears have these penny-whistle problems , because i love flutes...do you play flutes too? Some real flute would fit well... . Thanks a lot for your reply and an extra hug for the sFX-link! Cheers! Chris

Sorry Chris, I would love to play flutes but the dreaded arthritis won't let me get the arm up high enough. James
