This piece went through an awful lot of changes over the years & this is my latest version of it.

Mmmm I seem to have a thing with basslines today.

I think you should try and play the bass more laid back and let the drums control the groove. The whole piece sounds very hurried and speedy now.

Yeah, there are definately some drawbacks of quantizing, but unfortunately I get rattled once I start recording and my hands become erratic & it throws of my timing.
If I did not use quantizing,it would sound like a train wreck.
In some of my songs I leave out quantizing in certain tracks-mainly with solos and I do need to devote more time to polishing my songs.

Nice to hear your work after all the problems you were having!

This is nice work, although I agree it could do with the bass being more 'relaxed'

If you have a poem, I have a tune, and we exchange these, we can both have a poem, a tune, and a song.

Thanks for the praise Folderol & yes,the bassline needs work, but I've done so many changes on the song as it is over the years, that I am just a little burnt out with the song.
Some of the songs I've done definately fall under the classification of "rough draft".
