I wrote this awhile ago, specifically for the kvr contest but never submitted as I got a
a
a
an idea...
That quickly got out of hand. The 'basic' score has over 300 tracks and the vocal parts are close to 200.
Needless to say, a mixing nightmare.
If I was younger I wouldn't blink at the task but now..<sigh>

What I gleam from my hieroglyphics notes there are 42 individuals singing on this, but the only ones I can identify (my notes suck) are Mello-guy, Genetic_Junk, Hovmod and Tatum and maybe Max but the rest either wanted to be anonymous or my notes totally suck!

The track is supposed to sound like a almost competent high school marching band.
Many tracks of miles tone were damaged in the making of this.

I thought my jaath thingy was pretty conventional too!
I know it's odd, considering my 'posted' tunes yet I've written/recorded many conventional pieces in my lifetime Smiley and a few conventional symphonies (that will never be performed lol)

That part actually took a bit of effort, making vst-driven horn players sound 'breathless' and detuning the instruments.

Back when I did visual sweetening this was not an unusual amount of tracks for me.
But....
I started the tune 1.5 years ago and usually rely upon my memory for mix parts.
The time difference cetween when I started this and did this 'little' version caused me a great deal of problems.
With 300 tracks it still sounds crap though Grin

 Sad
I'd like to listen to this one on my home speakers, sadly I'm away from home and I'm listening through laptop speakers
300 tracks are more than an ensamble....  Shocked
Anyway this track sounds truly experimental  Cool

Cheers
