...OK, it ainīt correct English, but the title rhymed at least. Wink

This morning I wanted to try out my new little speaker set.  For that purpose I used some bounces of songs Iīm working on, but are waiting to be finished.
Between those thingies appeared a 4:26 long song, almost done.
My wife asked me what I was laughing for. Roll Eyes
"This is just a funny song", I explained.
There was a small detail I didnīt like though and opened the song to correct that.  Unfortunately I found out that in the meanwhile I continued working on the piece.  It was almost completely different, had grown two more minutes and with a few more recordings, ready to fit in... Shocked

Too much work to change a detail in the first version, so I decided to share it as it is :

Have fun with it,

Max... .. . Cheesy

It is fun, so you're not dun....  Grin

I'm allways amazed how creative you are with samples, I should realy try this someday... but I must say that I wouldn't have an idea how to make a song with samples (if there not mine).
I think I lack imagination to do this  Roll Eyes

Great funny song, Max Cool

Tx guys.

Kara, working with loops is more or less like composing a song, together with the other band members.
Somebody comes up with a lick on his instrument and the others, one by one make/suggest their arrangement around it.  You either donīt know what they'll come up with.  So the surprise factor is very high ! Wink
Then you need to mould and chew until the whole fits together well.

OK, this is rather a method used by people who donīt depend on partitures, IMO.

We have in fact so many ways to make music/songs.  The most important is to enjoy what you do.
I like the sound of acoustic guitars, but I prefer to play electric.  I like aquarel but I prefer painting with oil... Cool
Take for instance Raul Midon, a blind singer-guitarist.  He has a unique playing style, probably an insult to the classical positioning, but he sounds/plays amazingly brilliant and obviously loves what heīs doing ! wOO

BTW, mostly my songs are a mixture of real played stuff and ('manipulated') loops.

Cheers,

Max... .. .

PS : Interesting concept, this monthīs song contest ! Grin
Last month I couldnīt join in, īcose the local TV asked me to do a jingle for them. Wink

Nice to hear one of your pieces again. They are always quite original.

Hi Max. How's the weather?

Prrrrr Lots of things going on in this song . You seem to have been subjected to the Zapp culture. It's too much for my feeble constitution.

If you hadn't told me, I never would have guessed this was composed from separate song ideas. It flows, continuity and variety in equal measure.

Fun, too  Smiley!

Another dandy, Max.
