Title: Pumpkins Post by: blipp on February 17, 2008, 04:16:14 PM Been away from here a few weeks. Recently bought a new guitar and i made this track with it, so it's not the sort of track i usually post. It's in 3 parts. Hope you enjoy. ;D

this is interesting just because different from your usual productions, different genre but same nice touch I like the alternation between soft effected-guitar sections and the other part with drums. The use of echoes as a rhythmic tool is a good weapon as well. This is an unusual way to build atmosphere, and I like it very much Well done 8) Cheers Title: Re: Pumpkins Post by: elwoodblues1969 on February 17, 2008, 05:20:49 PM Hi Blipp,
The first :39 & the last 2:38 is what really interests me,as these areas of this piece put me into dream state, because the chord progressions-coupled with the implementation of effects are absolutely beautiful to me. O0 There is a divine source of inspiration at play here & I'm loving it.Very nice going & I hope you build on this piece more,as I would love to hear what it evolves into. Cheers, Thom Title: Re: Pumpkins Post by: blipp on February 17, 2008, 09:12:40 PM Cheers guys. it was a lot of fun to make and i'll be doing more guitar based tracks in the future i think. :)

The guitar is an epiphone les paul custom and i'm playing it through Guitarr Rig 2, which is fantastic. ;D Title: Re: Pumpkins Post by: Oren on February 18, 2008, 02:18:05 PM Schweet! :D
Title: Re: Pumpkins Post by: folderol on February 18, 2008, 09:37:21 PM Well, this made me sit up alright :)
It's good to hear something quite different from the mainstream. It is both ambient and melodic (the two don't always go together), and I like the relatively simple effects you put on top. Very original. Title: Re: Pumpkins Post by: kara on February 19, 2008, 07:05:51 PM I knew this wouldn't be a 'normal' guitar song ;D
Well done, very interesting sounds k Title: Re: Pumpkins Post by: Frederik on February 21, 2008, 08:47:33 AM hi blipp!
