The most peaceful part of my day,has always been my afternoon nap with my furry loved ones...but since my Selma has been gone,I've never had a decent rest since. This song is my reminiscing of those 5 years I had with her and how she never failed to make me smile & laugh everyday,of those 5 years.
"I hope you go out smiling, like a child in a cool remnant of a dream".

A lovely little tune Thom, almost whimsical and carefree.... just like your average kitty I couldn't resist doing this... hope you approve

Hi,Thom I can't begin to tell you how much I sympathize with you. I still have my two fury friends that I can't wait to see everyday after work, what is my day going to be like when they are gone,I don't even want to know.I would rather go before they do. For now I just love them and enjoy them as if it was my last day with them, one is almost 18 and the other 11.I've tried writing something for them but I get too emotional. Thanks for sharing Thom. Rui

Thom, As has already been stated, this is a break from your usual style It's a really fresh piece of work. Beautiful and cat-like in it's construction. It 'creeps up on you' then just sits and purrs. A truly refreshing bit of music, my friend. Here is the one that I have left from my own collection! James

I guess I will have to represent the dog lovers of Kara-Moon, different animal but same pain when one passes on. I feel for your loss. Note that we are not cat haters; it’s just my wife, myself and two of my children are allergic to them.
It’s all been said Thom. A different genre for you but still played with your professionalism and feeling.
A great tribute to your loved one.
