I was dining at a Chinese restaurant & the woman running the bar was staring at me like I was a sirloin steak & as if she had not eaten in a week!I returned her gaze & she smiled wide at me...most woman leave you guessing & are a complete mystery,so I love it when a no-sh*t woman let's you honestly know how they feel, right out of the gate.
Needless to say, this encounter inspired this tune & I will be frequenting that restaurant from now on. Grin

Thom,

The segment from 2:10 onward really took it for me. Actually, the song has a feeling like meal at a Chinese restaurant, served up a dish at a time...
As with all your recent work, nicely balanced sound, and thoughtful instrument selection. Smiley

She certainly did inspire you  Cool
It sounds oriental with a western touch, sort of cross over
And as usual great sound from you

Thom, it feels like I just took a musical tour through modern China!

VERY good work here. Great choice in sounds and rhythms.

My ears are very glad that she inspired you.  This is super.

PS – the next time you’re at the restaurant ask about take out  Wink

Very nice ! This one has a unique atmosphere
I love all those changes/breaks, very unusual elements
We know well your musical skills, the freshness in this one probably comes from the source of inspiration (attractive?!)  Grin

Cheers
