Title: Cedars - a new CD by Bob van der Poel
Post by: bvdp on April 10, 2008, 10:33:53 PM

In case you have doubts about just how good MMA can sound, have a look at my new CD.

    http://mellowood.ca/music/cedars/index.html

Just little old me on the saxophone and a lot of help from MMA generated background tracks.

All original, easy listening/jazz songs. Hope you like it. And don't forget to buy the darned thing!

Best,

Totem could not play 'fd:110'.
You do not have a decoder installed to handle this file.  You might need to install the necessary plugins.

when my son bot his mp3 i told him that i could not load music onto it and that he would have to find someone else to do this hmmmm......

Darned if I know. They're just plain old mp3s  ... but, hey, send me the $10 and I'll send you an old fashioned CD.

Jon,

Download Audacity http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ from Sourceforge or your distro's repository. Then download the Lame MP3 codec and install it as instructed.
Then Audacity will play all your MP3 files, and will encode your other music to MP3 for your son's player. Use Lame's VBR(variable bit rate) setting for best quality performance.

Oren.
