This is just a fun jam that tries to recreate the 50’s sound.

I’m playing the bass, rhythm and lead guitar parts while the drums and piano are straight from Band-in-a-Box.

I hope you like it for what it is.

Thanx guys for listening and the kind reviews.

This was a fun one and it brought back a lot of memories.

I played a lot of this genre back in the days when I was a greaser. Yep leather jacket, sideburns and a Brylcreem loaded DA with a curl down the front. If you don’t know what I mean just look at Danny from the movie Grease: http://www.imdb.com/character/ch0006427

In fact that movie could have been based on the wife and I, as she was a cheerleader goodie goodie two shoes and I was the guitar playing Danny type!

I love the whole surf-motif sound & being an avid Beach Boys fan, this is some righteous tunage! Cool If you had pictures of yourself posted here from back then-that would be priceless! Grin

I’m glad you liked this Thom.  However finding old pictures turned out to be a chore.  I did find some from the 1962-1963 era.  Please don’t laugh Wink

Heh! We thought we were something else then, didn't we? I actually regret that I don't have any at all of me in those days.

Very good!!!  Makes you want to move!

Of course, I'm not old enough to know anything about 50's music!  Grin
