Cool
Well .... I've taken this beautiful piece of work and have played SO MANY parts over it!  Shocked
It is such an absolutely PERFECT composition.  Cry

At this point I have reined myself in to a single whistle line.  In truth, my reasoning is mainly to give the feeling of *realism* to an otherwise *synthetic* sound.
I know that this is a problem of mine.  Roll Eyes  I find it difficult to accept that these are not *real instruments*. As most players will agree, there is always an issue with phrasing and dynamics which cannot be re-created in synthesis, although the general composition and musical construction is totally sound.
To these ends I have submitted a simple solo whistle line which is intended to complement, but not overtake, the main theme.  I have an idea for also putting in an acoustic guitar ... but am holding off on this until Will is back from holiday to see how he feels about it.

Yup, Uh huh wOO

Your whistle really reaches it's stride at about the 2 minute mark. The performance is impeccable.  Afro
If I was editing the mix, I'd introduce this whistle track, as is, but at approximately 2:00 rather than where it is introduced now. (food for thought - low calorie - no animals harmed)

I have an avid interest in the Celtic culture, and you guys bring it to life. Spooky. In a good way... Wink

Thanks very much for your work James. There are parts where it is a absolutely perfect fit. I'm hoping we can do some more development on this.

 Cool
In agreement with Will I have made an extra two guitar tracks to complement this piece.
I have sent him all the tracks for him to weave his own sort of magic with, but here is my personal mix.
I fully expect many changes in the final production.

James,
On the whole, an impressive acoustic guitar track. This song is not easy to accompany, and you are able to follow Will's ideosynchratic timing remarkably well. Other than a couple of spots where he zigs and you zag, your performance could be deployed in the final mix as-is. Very nice!

You certainly created some beautifull tracks for this song, now it will be up to Will to find the perfect balance between the synths & guitar. Won't be THAT easy....

I had the impression that the High E-string was tuned a bit on the lower edge, but that could be my ears too, I'm just awake  Roll Eyes

James has done a very good job on this.

It's going to be hard to do better!
