Hi guys,

I've just done this simple song, not a lot of instruments orbiting in this one.
I've just wanted to share private emotions and not losing focus with sophistication.

http://youtu.be/rsH5p_lIuf4

What do you think of the lyrics?

Thank you!

Nono

I'm confused
When I'm looking at your face
I refused
to be your second chance
I was nude
I could'nt see behind the veil
You're so rude
But I won't be the last to dance

Oh lonely lonely
Quiet as the snow
Oh lonely lonely
I was the last to know
That you were gone

I was lost
and so happy you found me
I was broke
but you helped me climb the tree
You were right
I was nothing till we met
And that night
You were so hard to forget

Oh lonely lonely
Quiet as the snow
Oh lonely lonely
I was the last to know
That you were gone

The day is blue
All is falling into place
I see you
Satisfaction on your face
It's so cruel
But I'm looking for the best
I'm a fool
For this love I can't replace

Oh lonely lonely
Quiet as the snow
Oh lonely lonely
I was the last to know
That you were gone

Very nice (again!).

My only little issue with the lyrics would be in verse 1. Don't think that either "nude" or "rude" are the best choice of words. Yeah, the rhyme ... but I think that the only reason you picked the words (and the preceding phrase) was that they fit with the two rhyme words Smiley

But, don't pay too much attention to lyrics criticism. Most songs have dumb lyrics to start with. And an awful lot of modern day songs have either no lyrics or just a bunch of profanity. So, I wouldn't worry too much about the sax guys comments ...

I really like this one.  It tells a story, your vocal is super, the backing tracks are great, and the mix is outstanding.

I have no problem with nude and rude.  When I listened that that verse I took nude as to be open and vulnerable and not naked, no offense meant bvdp.

I think this is one of your best to date!

None taken. Guess I'm just too much of a literalist ... never did well in poetry in school Smiley

Glad you liked it.  Smiley

Well I was wondering too about this part of the verse as it would be clearer in french I think. This is the difficulty of thinking in french and writing in english I guess.
The explanation you gave, MarioD, is the right one.  Wink

Thank you!

A very visceral journey, into the depths of your anguish...quite an elegant conveyance of your experience...very well done! Cool

Very well thought out lyrics, sensitively sung, and just the right amount of instrumental support.

Hi you 2!

Really happy you like it!
I know this is not the song of the year but I'm glad the lyrics suit you as I try hard to be sincere with rhymes! )

Thank you!
