From a post by konradh of the cakewalk forums: “I hear that vocal correction technology is becoming so popular that singers who cannot afford it are trying to emulate it by singing on key. “

I thought it would be appropriate to share here  Cool

I bought one...a foot pedal (it is a fun little toy...I can sound female if I want!). Cause emulating on key is tough for me. But the band members won't let me use it anyway. They say it's cheating! So here's one that can afford it but not using it! Lol

Variations in vocal pitch are used to great advantage by some very expressive performers. One's level of control is the issue... are you "all over the place" by accident or by design...? Roll Eyes

That’s an easy one for me to answer; by accident Angry

I used Sonar’s V-Vocal pitch correction once on my voice.  The program crashed with this message “Shut your mouth and play your guitar”, then erased its self.  Apparently it didn’t want to hear me anymore  Angry Angry Angry

Christina Aguilera of the third kind. I suffer from other worldly vocal acrobatics...not in a good way! I'm surprised my mates even let me have a mic.
