Just finished this one tonight.  It's another cheesy love song, called Find A Way.  As we know, most men have a genetic inability to speak the Venutian Female language.  That's what this one is about.  Wink  I hope you enjoy it!

The instrumentation is mostly Band In A Box RealTracks & RealDrums.  I did add some strings and brass, and a touch of guitar and piano, all with Miroslav Philharmonik.  All of the vocals is (are?) me.

Here are the lyrics...

Find A Way

Music & Lyrics Copyright Stephen W. Young

Memories from a faded photograph
Of true love that we both knew would last
A moment in time so long ago
The smiles in the picture say it's so

If I could only find a way to say
But every time, my words get in the way

I look around and see you standing there
And I stumble at the words I want to share
A moment in time, just yesterday
But a lifetime of loving you this way

If I could only find a way to say
But every time, my words get in the way

===

Have a great day!

Steve

David Gates and Bread desperately wish they'd written and recorded this one... Afro

First rate in every way - without question, top 40 material. Kiss

I just hope your wife appreciates you. She's a very lucky girl!

Azell, thank you so much! Glad you like it.

Oren,

Interesting. Someone on the PG forum said it sounded like Bread.  I hadn't thought of that before, but I can hear it. Of course I wish I could sing like David Gates. He was always one of my favorites. When I was a teenager (when I wasn't listening to Uriah Heep).  Thanks so much for the kind words.   Wink

Folderol,

She does. I'm the lucky one. Thanks!   Grin

Mario,

Thanks so much. I just wish I knew something about pitching songs.  Thanks again!

Steve
