Here is a shot of Yates Street, Victoria BC,  March 6, 10:00am...
...and some work from local grafitti artists we saw along the way.

I don't really care for graffiti in general,as to me,it's tantamount to defacing one's body with tattoos...but at least in this case,it's done neatly without any gang slogans.

Looks like a very colorful place to live.  I don’t mind this type of graffiti.

The untold secret ... what you going to the hardware store for?

BTW, if I were to walk to the hardware store I'd have a 4 hour movie ... yes, it's a long way. Joys of living in the country Smiley

Thom and Mario,
Victoria has "approved sites" for graffiti. Generally, a tagger will add to another's work in some complimentary fashion, unless the original is very faded and weathered.

Bob,
I'm repairing/regrouting/recaulking the bathroom fixtures and ceramic tiles, and was looking for a replacement tray to install in the hole in the tub-surround wall where the old chromed-steel soap tray resided - preferably something made from ceramic in a colour that compliments the existing tiles. So far, no luck...

I really enjoy graffiti like this. There is some real talent involved, and where artists build on each other's work you can end up with some stunning images... as you know Grin
