Hi all,

I have founded on my hard drive 4 mp3 of four snippets I wrote sometimes ago. It was cool coz I liked these draft songs but totaly forget it. I would like to rework these songs. I have begun with one called "Down in Town". Corrected the sound, although it needs more work, removed some parts and added a very few new elements. It's a kind of smooth funk/soul theme. I made it too long and repetitive, sorry.

Thanks to read!

bye

EDIT : The same but a change on the Infector pad. Made also some volume and eq correction + added a shaker at some place. Does it sounds better ? Here :

Hi Mag
This is track is a nice soundtrack for my evening coffee, watching people passing by.
The bass/kick drum are very loud as in dance style, but all in all it has a good feel.
A dose of your classic pads + melody

Cheers

Cool Mag, I reconize your style which I like a lot
I agree that bringing the drums a tad back would be a good idea.
Certainly worth to finish, add a litle bit of variation to it and you'll have another great song

Hi thanks for the feedbacks!
Now that you say it, I can hear that the drums are too present. There's plenty of things I'm not satisfied here but I liked this little theme. It has to be developed. I also think that a singer here would be cool.
I'll work on it  Grin

It's already so nice..I do hope you will continue with it.

It's one of those ones that are worth the effort.

Thanks

A very nice one Magma!  This has a lovely chilled groove and I like the way the various sounds gradually come in and out - lots of little details that only come across on repeated listenings.
