Title: It's a Funky New Year
Post by: MarioD on January 15, 2017, 11:32:45 PM
I finally got some time to do a little music for myself.  This is just a jam where I am playing the guitar and wind controller (sax) with Band-in-a-Box supplying the backing tracks.

Very enjoyable. Nicely played. Actual sound of the sax emulation , not so much (as I think has been mentioned before), but hey. Not complaining ;D

Just had a thought. Was that recorded direct to audio, or as MIDI? If the latter, fancy letting me have a play with it?

I can send you the MIDI tracks sans the guitar part as it was audio.

Would that do?

If it's not too much trouble, I'd quite like all the audio as separate tracks + the MIDI file.

This is a pretty cool jam and in fact,if you tightened it up...along with some fine tuning, this could be serious fun! O0

What type of compression can you use for the audio tracks?  Ape, Flack, Zip?

flac or zip - whichever ends up with the smallest files :)
