This is the finished version of the song I had planned putting into the Ten Years project, which now seems to have stalled.
Enjoy ....
it's about life here as it has panned out.

James you are one hell of a great song writer, singer and multi-instrumentalist wOO

Not to forget that your video skills are over the top also

Thanks Mario.
Sometimes I feel it just fair to give a demo of the amount of work that goes into a song.
And ... I just enjoy every part of the process.

Nicely rounded off James. That light touch of reverb on the vocal works a treat.
I liked the vid too.

P.S.
Nice collection of hats, but I notice one of the players seems to have lost his Smiley

Yes ...he slept in and just managed to rush in at the last minute. Will have to dock his beer money for that!

A good technique I learned (from a pro) about vocal treatment is to duplicate the lead vocal track, add a warm reverb to one of them, then pull that one slightly back behind the dry one and balance them so that the 'verb is only just showing. Gives a nice sense of fullness.

First class job,in every respect...Mr.Fraser! Cool Your wonderful work as inspired me to re-think my participation in this project. At one point though,I thought about creating a new composition, only because(the tune I had posted) was a very old tune, that I wrote about 30 years ago and I just never got around to writing lyrics for it.
Now though...I'm thinking that it's about time I used my old song for a real purpose(rather than leaving it as just an instrumental.Recently,I added a new instrument to my studio and I'm tackling the learning curve of it,but I would like incorporate my new keyboard into this old tune of mine.

Thanks for watching/listening/commenting Thom.
I'm glad this has inspired you although I got to admit I've given up on that project now.
