94 is a damn good age, and he sure filled the time. With the contributions he made to the world of music (at many levels) he can have had few regrets. Neither should we. I'll raise a glass and wish him Bon Voyage!

I'm sorry to say that I did not know much about the man(but I was never a guitar player),but I just had the fortune of reading an article on him I found on AOL.....quite an extraordinary man!
If it were not for Les Paul's contributions to the music world,a lot of the guitar samples found in hardware & software would not exist....musicians around the globe owe a great deal to Les Paul for everything we all have today that's guitar-related. Cool
