Title: Re: Synneotic Post by: Oren on December 14, 2007, 05:23:30 PM Attractive soundscape. Nicely crafted percussive components. Lots of space, so the dissonant sounds have room to breathe and interact.
This one is definitely going somewhere... :) Oren. Title: Re: Synneotic Post by: Laguna Rising on December 14, 2007, 08:00:11 PM nice sketch, percussions upfront and melodic elements in background, it sounds like an intro to something still waiting to come.
Cheers Title: Re: Synneotic Post by: Oren on January 20, 2008, 09:23:55 AM Very original!
Creative...oddly musical. The work you've done on this has been well worth it! Is the abrupt ending intentional, or is there more to come? Oren. Title: Final cut Post by: Servetus on February 01, 2008, 05:47:35 AM I became disenchanted with this piece after working on it so long, so it ended short, as most of my pieces do. Have a listen, share a thought.

Intense piece of work! Perplexing combination of nuance and mania. I suspect the ideas you've explored in this one will prove useful to you down the road - perhaps think of it as an exercise - no pain, no gain? :D Oren. Thank you, Oren. I think that is probably the best way to look at it. ;D -Servetus Title: Re: Synneotic Post by: kara on February 02, 2008, 09:06:36 AM Very interesting 8)
I like how the drum tracks builds up, it is a bit broken but still has a certain groove. What is lacking, is direction. At the moment it is a great intro to something bigger that has yet to come... k Title: Re: Synneotic Post by: Servetus on February 04, 2008, 07:13:46 AM Thanks Kara. That's one of my greatest difficulties, I always make introductions, but don't really know how to go from there- eh, structure in general, I'm sort of haphazard.
Thanks for listening, -Servetus |
