Title: Do I need help?
Post by: SoundKlops on April 23, 2008, 02:54:01 PM
Sometimes I think that something is wrong with me. Sometimes I know that something is wrong with me. Sometimes I think it is good that something is wrong with me. Then I make music like this, quiet and a bit strange.

Andreas,

This piece has a really intense science fiction theme to it,which is very immersive.
The erratic and frenzied whispers towards the middle of the song are brilliant,as it makes me think of going to bed for the night with my mind replete with obessive thoughts,causing me to have really tumultuous dreams.

I concur,that having something wrong with you is definately a good thing and I'm glad I'm not the only one here that's deranged. >:D :P ;D

Your're a remarkable well of creativity my friend,-a job very well done. 8)

This would be an excellent soundrack to a really spooky Sci-Fi film 8)

Excellent stuff :;

If this is the result of having something wrong with you, I want to know how I can get so wrong too >:D

Andreas, there is something drastically wrong with you  ::)

You should make a CD of this stuff and sell it, NOT give it away  :;

Listen to that voice in your head  ???

If it’s in a foreign tongue then let me interpret it for you  :)

It said “make a commercial CD of this genre and give one copy to MarioD”  ;)

Outstanding stuff – Loved it.  :-

Thank you very much. 8) ;D ;D ;D

Who would have thought that a man in three hours with two chords can make a song like this and it gets so much praise? Well, I certainly not. I do not know of any direction in the music is easier to make good songs. You  only need the right plugins. You need not an instrument to be able to play and no knowledge of notes. You need only a little feeling or a brain damage (or both). Have a look in the midi file

I use these plugins an presets:

Song starts with Krakli Cygnus, PAD Dark Nebula T, Freeware.

At 00:18 starts EVM Ultra Sonique, Dyno Rid, Freeware.

At 00:36 starts H.G.F. STS 24 Pro, Softer Choir Pad 003, (STS 24 is no longer available, but there is a similar sound in STS 26)

At 01:30 you can hear H.G.F. STS 26 Pro, Labo of Temtation, a freeware version is availabel.

At 02:06 the whispering voices starts, NI Kontakt 3 (Library: Kontakt Experience), Get Out Of My HEAD!!!
NI Kontakt 3 (Library: Kontakt Experience), Random Whispers.
If you have a microphone you can make your own whispering voices.

At 02:46 starts NI Kontakt 3 (Library: Kontakt Experience), Aladdin's Curtain. I think you can make a similar sound with EMV Ultra Sonique.

At the end of the song I use a women's laughter sample that I found on my PC.

Well......I think  'Keep on Kloppin''
has to be the phrase of the week.  :D
Great stuff here.

Hi James,

My first thought was, I glue it on my car. But there is a similar german word is "Kloppen". This means approximately "beat someone". If someone "Keep on Kloppin" only fleetingly reads, it can easily come to misunderstandings. ;)
