nice picking.  sweet melodies.  still listening....  I like the rawness also.  I think it might be cool if you recorded it in a busy park where you might pick up the background sounds of, oh wait, i did just hear a bird crowing here at the end.  perfect

Ah, I remember some of your other songs from the Auditorium. You're getting such a beautiful acoustic guitar sound. If i may be so bold as to ask: How do you record your guitar? What mics? Positions? Also, what is that other sound that keeps comin in from time to time?

It really is beautiful. Thanks for sharing it  :)

Hi, thanks for the kind words.

@van Greco: It's a MC01 mic pointing at the 12th fret (I think so at least) through a TB101 into Samplitude SE. Nothing special at all.
The background noises are taken from a sample found on the net, it's called "tree ambience.wav". Unfortunately I can't remember where I found it - there were lots more :(

Maybe I should try to make this tree ambience spread wider to leave more room for the guitar in the center. Sounds too much just like some kind of noise, doesn't it?

Hi there,

made a few minor changes - the background noises are a bit louder now. Maybe it's more obvious now that it's a tree waving in the wind...   ::)
The guitar should sound less thin also. It's still not a high quality recording, it's just some kind of quickshot. But a nice one  :D

This is a beautifully played and recorded tune. Well constructed arrangement and lovely sound. I would love to hear more like this.
