Mario,

WOAH-that was an enormous amount of fun to listen to!! Grin

For the life of me,I can't figure out why I have not thought about this tune in so long & man,do I wish I had the original artist on cd,but this tasty rendition will do just fine saved in my library. Cool

Fantastic retro guitar work-so much so,that the electric piano in this tune is quite a clash, but apart from that-I love what you've done!

Cheers,

Elwood

Thanx a lot Elwood!

The original artists are the Chantays and they are on CD.  They are also on YouTube.  There is a free streaming ripper from YouTube that allows you to save videos if you want to keep them.

Thanx again - MarioD

Hi Mario
when I listened to this track it remains in my mind and today I played with it.
I hope you don't mind if I post the result here  Undecided
I had a lot of fun playing bass on it but with a rather dirty sound, like in a punk-surf style, and probably this is NOT how you planned it to be

It's all live in one take  Wink not errors-free...

A bass heavy pipeline

Thanks for providing genuine fun  Grin

Cheers

L.R.,

In my opinion,I don't agree with Kara on this one,as I think the bass line is a little too over-powering,as well as being too grungy for this song.

I think that if the electric piano track was improved, this song would be perfect. Cool

LR, nice one!  No it wasn’t how I envisioned it but it was a good rendition.

And no I don’t mind if you post it here.  If you and/or anyone else wants to modify, replace or add to what I’ve posted feel free to do so.  I will also upload a MP3 sans whatever instrument you want to replace.

No problem - MarioD

Cool, thanks ! In case I'll find some spare time I'll try to do it less dirty and distorted, but as you can see, it was done just for the sake of it
Have a good evening
