Mario,

I don't know what on earth you sent me,but either it's too enormous or it's a file that my computer does not recognize.

Your message freezes up my mail box & it does not function at all.I can't even reply to your message...I'll try responding to your message from scratch, but I thought i should leave you a message here also, just in case my e-mail does not go through to your account.

I'll try sending you a private message also.

Thom, that is really weird as it was only a text file.

Here it is:

Hi Thom,

I’ve downloaded a midi version of "Have you ever seen the rain" and I’m working on it, i.e. some parts weren’t so good! Anyway as I’m working on it I said "hey, I’d better send this to Thom to be sure it’s in his singing key".

So I have a mp3 to send you. Were should I send it?

When responding be sure to put Thom from Kara-Moon is the subject line so my anti-spam won’t kill it.

If this isn’t the right key just let me know which way to transpose it, up or down by a little or a lot. Eventually we will get there. (There is no use in me adding guitar parts until the key is established).

Thanx - Mario

Mario,

If a mere text file causes that much havoc with my e-mail account, then posting your mp3 here on the forum would be ideal.

There's really no need to send an mp3 file via e-mail anyway, unless of course you were sending a wav file,so posting it here is perfect, since it's easy access for me.

Thanks for all your hard work,

Thom Smiley

OK Thom, here is the mp3 file.

This is nowhere near finished.  I just need to establish the key you are going to sing it in.  Let me know it this is ok, too high or too low.

Thanx

Hi Thom,

Attached is the almost finished version of “Have You Ever Seen the Rain”.

Use this to sing your part(s), then send me you vocal part(s) only.  I can take MP3’s, Flac or Ape files.  Flac and Ape are better but MP3’s can work most of the time, your choice.  If you sing harmonies please send them as separate files.  That makes it a lot easier to pan and blend when they are separate files.

Let me know if you get this message.

Thanx - MarioD

Mario,

I just arrived online,so it's too late for me to start on it now,but I'll start on it first thing tomorrow and I'll try and bang it out then.

Thanks,

Thom
