For the July/August competition I made a track called Golden Skies which was slightly shorter than 3:40 (the max. track length allowed). It was one of those times where everything just clicked and I really enjoyed working on it. In fact, after doing the regular length track I immediately did an expanded version which I'm now proud to show to you all!

A new voice in the Marc JX8P sound - guitar - and tastefully deployed..... :;

The contest entry was allready very good, obviously the reason you won the contest  8)

This version is even better, solid structure, good development and great sound structure !

You realise you have to play this on the live gig don't you  ;D
I wonder how you will play keys and guitar at the same time  ??? ;)

A very signature sound,smooth & well constructed. 8)I've always been fascinated with atmospheric conditions in places such as the Netherlands(I'm assuming that this tune is in reference to this-unless the title is a metaphor for something else)?

Your musical influences are very evident in this piece & a fine display of it. :D

Wow, thanks for the positive response people, glad you like it so much! As to playing it - it's kind of complicated so if I were at all to attempt it I suggest a collaborative effort in the form of a jam where I'l happily leave guitar and bass parts to the specialists! ;D

We'll see, there's a lot to play that weekend and so little time to prepare...

Great quality of sound and fine quality of playing combined. This is among the best I heard from you Marc.

I like your expressive synth playing, which is much different from the usual sequenced flat notes I hear from mediocre productions, and I often fall in this class, too
