Okay, here it is!
Version 1.6c:
http://mellowood.ca/mma/downloads.html#developerAs discussed earlier on the forum there's a lot new here. I hope I've not broken anything and there are not too many bugs! I have tried it on my files and it seems to be working great.
Major things include:
- Solo notation can specify note durations with MIDI ticks, Accent individual notes, volume setting for individual notes, <OFFSET> option for jumping in solo lines.
- More harmony options.
- MidiInc can push or Riff-ize its input into a Solo track. This then gets evaluated like hand entered data. So, you can play a solo on a keyboard, record it, import into MMA and change the voicing, articulation, harmony, etc. A report option in MidiInc helps you figure out tracks and offsets. All very cool! There is a tutorial file in egs/midi-inc showing how it works.
- DupRiff: lets you copy riff data between tracks. Very useful in copying a solo into a harmonyonly track. More uses? Let me know!
And much more! See the text/CHANGES-1.6 file for details. And all the new stuff is in the fine manual
I really hope you can find time to beat on this and break it! Let me know about bugs or other improvements you need.
Have fun!
