This is me practicing my EWI-USB wind controller. I like the old standards so I thought it might be easier for me to learn the EWI-USB  by playing these songs.

It is proving very hard to master this beast. Unfortunately I don’t have the time needed to devote to it as life keeps getting in the way plus it is a lot different than playing a trumpet.  I look at this as a brand new instrument so it will take a lot of time to get it down.  However I am having fun with it.

I hope you like it.

Sounds like you've really got the hang of this thing Smiley

You're getting some real expression in that old classic.

Thanx Will for listening and your kindness!

No I don’t have this beast under control yet, but I’m trying and making some progress.

You are certainly making progress.
Azell thinks it's pretty well played  Cool Your next step now is getting confidence now, at some points you hear that you are not really convinced about your playing, and that is in your head not in the playing technique (that is what she said  Wink )

Keep going, I liked it

Kara and Azell, thanx for listening and the vote of confidence.  You are correct, as I am not confident in my playing.  I’m still a novice at this and I’m doing more editing than I’d like. Sometimes I think this EWI-USB just likes to try my patience!

I actually like it... backing tracks, arrangement, wind controller, guitar, and all that hair. Not my style, man, but you got it down...

Thanx Oren.

I think I can learn this beast faster by playing songs I like verses just playing scales. But it is a long learning curve.

Mario,

Good job, and tastefully done, especially considering you are still learning the instrument!  I really enjoy your music.
