Martin E, this is indeed radio ready.  Super strings and production with an outstanding vox.  Fred’s part fits like a glove.  Maybe he should get stung more often Grin

Just kidding Fred: I have a mild allergic reaction to bee stings so I have to be careful.

If I heard this in a CD shop I’d buy it.

Another moderator and I were discussing the idea of, rather than simply saying "nice song!" all the time, suggesting possible improvements.

The drum sounds are fine, as are the programmed beats. However, the quality of musicianship and the taste of the players in the rest of the song simply "out-shine" the percussion, to the point where the song would sound better without it.
Drums are not an essential ingredient of any production. You guys have simply progressed beyond what Addictive Drums can do. As any live player will tell you, you're better off with no drummer at all than one who can't keep up (taste-wise) with the rest of the band.

As the producer of the song, you may feel that percussion is a necessary part of the mix. Your choice, of course... Wink

I must say I really can't make head or tail of your remarks. So we best leave it at that.
And you're right its my choice to use the drums as I see fit.

Hi Martin
your lyrics are always intriguing and emotionally aware
So that adds another level to the expressivity to the song other than singing, and playing.
I agree with all the other comments on the high quality of this last collab with Fred
Excellent song indeed.
Cheers

Thanks, Laguna. I appreciate your comments about the lyrics. It's not always easy to come up with something I'm happy with. It usually takes a bit of an effort.
