I need some comments: I've started working on a new song. It's not finished, I just have the first 14 bars, but I would like to know if this sound and style is working for you and if my mix is ok. So comments are much appreciated !

Moon,

Very clean and well  ordered composition.

The mix is good for me too.

Just this much already builds my interest.

Looking forward to more.  Grin

Moon,

I finally get to hear you with your new beast...it's about time! Grin

The mix sounds very balanced & I can hear how inspired you are with your new toy. Cool

The sound quality is absolutely beautiful. Smiley

You have the Hans Zimmer style going...very nice...I'm standing by to hear more of this.

Cheers,

Thom

Thanks for the nice comments. The song is indeed completely made with my brand new M3, and yes... this beast is getting me inspired. It's a good thing to make music away from a DAW.

I'll try to complete this song...

Yeah ! the mix is Ok everything sounds good
The track is very interesting, slow evolving melodic line (as in a soundtrack)
..of course much more to follow...

I like this - great sounds and a very clear mix. The melody is interesting and the whole thing has a lot of potential - I'm looking forward to hearing how it develops.

Pretty much agree with everyone else (again?)

I get the impression you haven't really decided where you want the melody to go. Just don't force it - it'll tell you what notes to play when it's ready Cheesy

This has potential as pointed out.

Mixwise I would temper the low bass sound. It's clouding the kick at the moment. And maybe ease down on the lead sound. It's very much in your face. Which is not really necessary. Eq might solve these issues as well.

Thanks everybody! I'll definetly work further on this one.

Martin, I see your point, and will experiment with the mix.

I really loved the initial Beat with the Bass!
It has potential to be great. Maybe some Vocals would fit nice to it.

Good work. I think these presets must be very inspiring for somebody who likes the style. Sound is very refrehsing. Definitely it has the potential.
