Hey folks!

Hope you're all ok. As for me I simply have no time for making music whatsoever, which really Pi***s me off. Maybe at the beginning of next year...
Nevertheless I started (another) new song which I "only" have to finish. I'd be happy if you would give me some feedback on it.
I hope to be back soon.

Have a nice December/Christmas Time,

Tal

This sounds good to me so far. I hope you have such a boring time now that you are compelled to carry on with it  Grin

Interesting  Cool
At the moment I have 2 remarks  Roll Eyes
- I'm not so fun of the comping style of the guitar that comes in at 0:35 ?
- The mix will need some work. I realy have to concentrate on what you are singing to understand the lyrics. I've listened with headphones and still don't understand every word....

Hope this helps

Thanks for your comments. I'll see what I can do.  Smiley

Kara, do you mean the rhythm guitar that also sets in in the first verse? I think the timing is a bit unprecise, which is not a problem since it's a vst guitar and I can simply change that.

I think it will sound better when the timing is more precise. Or would you change the rhythm?

Actually I think it's ok (apart from the timing), but maybe some others can post their opinions on that.

shit, it cut off, I think theres a real style on this, bit of a Nick Hayword slant to it without the brass stabs, but maybe some brass shots will work,
good start

Hi Talvin,

The intro is flawless & it really hooked me in,but where the vocal track begins,I think toning down the guitar track with a muted-finger picking rif instead, would be an ideal setting for the vocals & there would be no need to raise the volume of the vocal track.

Along with this,I think adding a keyboard track with chord progressions would be a nice way to support the guitar rif I suggested.

I think these two elements would really accentuate your existing vocal track.

It's really off to a great start though-with that intro & I am looking forward to the finished product. Cool

Thank you two for listening.  Smiley

I'll see what Real Strat can do...muted finger picking? Hmm...Are there any songs where I can listen to something like that. I'm not a guitar player...

Hi Talvin
I thought this was a sketch, but I was wrong beacuse this track is already well developed. It's another interesting song and I hope you'll find a way to finish it soon. I won't comment on the mix and sound quality 'cause i'm listening on laptop speakers. About the rhythm gtr matter I think you should try to fix the timing first, and then eventually trying changing the part. If you compare two different parts I think it's easier to figure out what you really want from it (it works for me)
Well done so far  Cool

Cheers

Thanks.  Smiley

I'll correct the timing issue and will try to finish the song soon. Don't know about a different guitar part as I'm not a guitarist. I'm trying to play/program the guitars as authentical as I can, but if there's something peculiar about them please tell me.
