I just finished a song I made on my new Korg M50...& I gotta tell ya...it's sooo nice to be able to dive right into the sequencer without having to read a manual!
Of course,I do not have the entiresequencer figured out as of yet...but that's due to the fact that the M50 sequencer is so much more advanced than my Triton's sequencer!
This song is entirely done with the M50 by itself & no out-board effects were added.
I finally have a set of really good 007-style guitar sounds to play with,so I was inspired to write another X-Mas spy song! Grin

I had the time of my life making this song on the M50 and I hope you all enjoy this latest addition to the X-Mas theme we have going on here....

It's always a great compliment, when it's coming from the bass master himself-thanks Kara! Cheesy
As for mastering the M50...well..I would not exactly put it that way,as the M50's sequencer is a bit of a learning curve, since it's a bit different & more advanced, but I do have a great head start,as I've owned Korgs for 21 years. Cool

Oren,

I think that once I spend some serious time with the M50,I could tweak the guitar sounds more effectively for more authenticity. Cheesy

Yeah,I was really blown away buy the quality of the drum sounds myself! Shocked Cheesy

Hang on {shuffle}{shuffle}
OK, nobody hiding under the bed Smiley

Well you certainly got to grips with this pretty fast. Some very nice sounds there, and all your usual spy themes.

By the time I get back from my holiday I expect you to have arranged:

The 1812 Overture
The full score of 'Cats'
The soundtrack of 'Titanic'

The strings are also very good!

My first synth was a Korg DS-8.  I wish I still had that one.  It was a great sounding synth for it’s day.

Mario,

Would you believe that the Korg DS-8 was also my very first synth?

It was-how cool is that! Cool
