A new song by the band 'Dieze'.

About the song :
It's a typical 12 bar blues in Bb. I won't translate the lyrics, but the story is about a girl walking on a beach and having an urgent pressure to go to the pipi-room Grin

About the production :
Since I'm really tied up with my professional occupations I don't have a lot of time for doing heavy post-production... Thinking about this I've devellopped a pre-production technique. All pre-production is done on the mixing board, on each channel panning and 3 bands EQ, on the aux buss a slight reverb and a compressor on the master bus, and that's it.
The whole song was recorded in one take and no post production was done on it.
I'm interested about what you think of this  Cool

Your soundstage is intimate and controlled, with each instrument given it's place in the mix. Reverb and EQ puts everyone in the same space. The result is very much like a "live studio" performance.
It works...

It's exactly how we sound live, so Oren your approval means a lot to us. Thanks  Cool

Kara,

I concur with what Oren said,as no post production is necessary....it's clean, natural & very articulate-great work!
Cool
As for the girl with the urinary distress..well...she could have easily resolved her problem by just jumping in the ocean and letting it go in the water-but then again,if she had done that, then there would be no song written about it. Wink Grin

Very nice clean blues. I guess that proves that you really can make a blues song about absolutely anything Smiley

If that's how you sound live, I want to know where you're next performing! Damn there's some wet stuff in the way  Huh

Great song, I love it.  My french is pretty rusty, but I managed to understand about 1/2 of it hehe.  Pipi blues - love the title!!
