Honestly, I find the "marketing" part of getting MMA out to more folk the most depressing part of all this.
Yes, I know that feeling... I have some programs myself that could use some more coverage.
The last couple of years I noticed I have changed my attitude slightly. I develop the programs for my own personal use and pleasure and share them with anyone interested. Is noone interested? Okay, it still is
my pleasure.
I have also noticed that musicians are a very quiet group of people (sounds contradictionary, doesn't it?). On the ChordPro forum (
https://groups.io/g/ChordPro/) I have about 100 members, and just a couple of them can be considered active. About 80 of them have never posted a message. Most messages are posted by new users: they subscribe, ask a question, I answer, and then fall silent. Frustrating? Well, as I said I now focus on my own pleasure, helped by people that do respond.
