this is the complete total opposite of my previous track. This one is very slow and solemn.
Hope you enjoy.

Yeah good I had a little problem with the odd percussion at the beginning of the song, but once it evolves it all falls in place. You could perhaps consider to leave the occasional percussion at the beginning out?

Thanks Rony. Interesting idea about the percussion at the beginning. I just tried it and it does make more sense to leave it out at the start. It helps build up the tension better. I'll upload the new version soon. Cheers.

New version replaced old version incorporating Rony's suggestions.
Also made a couple of alterations to the mix, mainly the piano to make it less cold sounding.

Hi Blipp!
Flowing tune. Probably works well to bring in percussion later, cause it worked real well as it is currently. Nice closing it out the same way. Sounds great on cans as usuall for your tunes....your use of the stereo field!!

Another excellent track, Blipp. You really capture the mood very well. The music lets you float on water.

Very nice one, blipp! You've pulled off a bit of a coup here. You've taken what is essentially an immersion into one steady-state sound experience and turned it into an experience that doesn't bore you, but rather lulls you into an active meditative state, pulls you along and then sets you gently back down in the real world with a sigh. When I started listening I was rather impatient because I'm at work and have just gotten off a phone meeting where my work was the center theme. So I was a bit jangled. I inadvisably skipped through the song in a quick preview and couldn't hear any substantive development. I then forced myself back to the beginning and let it play as I looked around the Music Auditorium for a while. By the end, I was calm and relaxed . . . I also realized that rather than focusing my attention on your song, I had let it just kind of propel my mood. It became a short soundtrack to my life. When it ended, I suddenly realized how much it had been affecting me. To me, that's the sign of an excellent ambient track. When you listen to it, it's nice and lovely. When you let it affect you in the background, it drives your mood without you even noticing it. So, my only suggestion would be . . . put it in the Ambient section

Hi Blipp This is hi-quality music and I like it. You're a step ahead in term of variations. Once you settled an atmosphere something changes and the listener must move on. This way the music is never boring. Of course this track is based on great melodies and your care for arrangements and the choice of sounds helps a lot for the final result. A real keeper Cheers

Blipp,
Great stuff .. you have a knack for building up soundbeds that evolve gently and remain interesting. Well done. Good production on the track too.
