Hi,

This is a song I am going to enter in the KVR contest (thats why its so short).  Let me know what you think.  I'm not really sure how to describe it.

Hi Sabotai
This is a very simple track, it doesn't really take off, for me, sorry. Embarrassed
imo it lacks some kind of melodic content, some melody of any kind. Undecided
sounds is good, is just a matter of construction...

cheers

Hmm yeah I suppose I should pick something that is more focused on melody for the audience at KVR.  I suppose I picked this song cause it was the easiest thing to cut down to 2 minutes.  Since as you say, its pretty simple.  Well I got off my butt and made a new track (the other one was 7 years old).  I like it more, although its not my best work.  I will admit my listening preferences are not too focused on complex melodies and that is reflected in the music I make as well.  I will post this new track here even though I can't figure out how to provide a direct link to it to post at KVR.  Back to the drawing board on that.

Thank you for your honest feedback!

To post a direct link at kvr or anywhere else : right click on your song in your post and choose 'copy link'. That's it, now you paste the link anywhere  Cool

Actually, there is great sound in this song, although I have to agree that I miss a strong lead to fill in a melody somewhere. I would defenitly keep on working on this one because I hear a great sound, but the work doesn't seem to be finished.
So I'm hoping for a second version here  Wink

Yeah, Spectre is much better. Time for me to go eat dinner.

Maybe you should try adding a little clickiness to some of the sounds?

Hello,

Even though this song needs more structure,it's a great beginning for a song,as  you can dance it,relax to it and just zone out....I really like this quality. Cool
