There was a thread recently on KvR asking us to create tracks with the theme 'Elephant'. Well, this came to me in the middle of the night, I suppose it's very dream-like! It's called elephant54 and I hope you'll enjoy it!

T.R., There's a peculiar quality of conciousness in the late hours that always sparks creativity very well,& this song encapsulates this beautifully...this is very enjoyable! Evocative percussion, seductive bassline & a barrage of transcendental synth riffs...a brilliant arrangement! Cheers, Thom

An interesting interweaving of African and Indian themes...which are the two principal locations where elephants are to be found. Or so I'm told ---Very nice work!

Indeed there is. I almost always compose at night but some nights are just a bit more surreal than others and *that's* when I really enjoy composing! Glad you like it Thom!

Definitely African elephants I thought at first, then the Indian ones crept in too. Lots of fun!

I really like this one, too. The percussion interplay with the main theme is so atmospheric. Superb. James

Elephants ? I was thinking of it as a similarity to Adrian Belew's obsession with Rhinos. This one has avantgarde harmonic elements but well blended into the rhythmic core. Yes, I mean... the rhythm is more prominent than the others instruments, and that's ok it works fine this way in the mix. I like the experimental streak in your music. Cool stuff
Cheers
