This has nothing to do with pop. I wanted to make a tune, that doesn't move ahead and doesn't go sideways. I just liked to express the breathing.

Hi Mello highly unusual, but interesting in a particular way. it set an atmosphere and then create variations to it. I imagine it was a windy day while you were composing it but it's a just a weird idea of mineVery original, what do you use ? Cheers

Interesting, the track kind of invokes the feeling of big ships drifting through the fog on a cold, desolate sea searching for land. A slow, crunchy drum track slowly fading in between 01:00 and 02:00 would nicely complement it I think. Definetely a cool track but needs a few details to hold the attention in my opinion (a few effects here and there or so). I do like the build up though and as a background track it works very well. The ending is a bit sudden; this is one of the few cases where I think a fade out would work better...

Thank you very much, Laguna and Marc! I like the images you evoke; indeed, it was a windy day and i can see the sea from our house. The track was entirely made with Zebra 2, my favourite softsynth. Very interesting thoughts, Marc. I, personally, don't want to add anything, because i like it as it is, rough and 'windy', but i'll try a longer fade-out. If you or somebody else likes to add something, feel free to do it. I could provide you with a wav-or a less compressed mp3-file.

Yeah the first image this brought to mind was a ship at sea due to the wavy sound of the synths. This is very atmospheric in it's own way. i do think it needs something more added later on in the track to hold the attention. Interesting track indeed.

This is a very interesting piece. It reminds me of ocean waves rising and falling at different times, a cork or something bobbing up and down semi-chaoticly with the waves ... Also reminds me of some of Fripp and Eno's work on Evening Star. Well done.

Well, this is different, Chris. Interesting for sure. Cool atmosphere piece. Not sure if I really like it or not; mostly cause I don't understand all that well. But, there's lots of times I don't even care what I think

Well, this is different, Chris. Interesting for sure. Cool atmosphere piece. Not sure if I really like it or not; mostly cause I don't understand all that well. But, there's lots of times I don't even care what I think I'm with Fred. It sounds very interesting, but I have a hard time grasping it. It's very chaotic but it has a steady bobbing rythm. I really can't comment much else on it.
