Title: The Frisky Spy Post by: elwoodblues1969 on November 07, 2008, 03:46:37 AM This song is an homage to one of the greatest film franchises of all time...don't have to tell anyone here who I am referring to. ;) ;D

Actually,I was making a reference to film...not a televison series.More specifically, the James Bond franchise I have always wrote about in the past. Thanks for the comment. 8) -Thom Title: Re: The Frisky Spy Post by: Oren on November 07, 2008, 04:40:17 PM ...I was making a reference to film...not a televison series.More specifically, the James Bond franchise... Just being silly, dude :D In all seriousness, since this new Bond has shown up, I'm officially disgusted. Having worked in a video store for nine years, I enjoyed the transitions from one Bond to the next... until this turkey came along. All sweat and no style, this guy. Dead from the neck up.... :-[ :-\ ::) Title: Re: The Frisky Spy Post by: elwoodblues1969 on November 07, 2008, 06:09:36 PM I wasn't sure if you were joking or not ??? :-\....as I have been accustomed to seeing a smiley face after the punch line. ;D
I'm with you on Daniel Craig assuming the Bond persona...not quite up to par. Even though he does not fit the mold style-wise,he still gives a powerful performance, because he is a competent actor and I have to admit...the screenplay for the Casino Royale film was very well written & the story in of itself, was very entertaining. I really do miss Pierce Brosnan's take on the Bond character though. :( Just out of curiousity,do you really think Timothy Dalton's Bond performance in the late 80's was any better than Daniel Craig's?? -Thom Title: Re: The Frisky Spy Post by: Oren on November 07, 2008, 07:39:57 PM Just out of curiousity,do you really think Timothy Dalton's Bond performance in the late 80's was any better than Daniel Craig's?? Er, no :D George Lazenby did a cool job, though, especially considering he'd never acted in a major roll before. Title: Re: The Frisky Spy Post by: MarioD on November 07, 2008, 10:23:25 PM Great tune!
And yes, I’m a big fan of “The Saint” also :; I know, I’m nothing but a big smart @ss ;) Seriously though, this could be a Bond movie’s theme song. It’s that good :- Title: Re: The Frisky Spy Post by: elwoodblues1969 on November 07, 2008, 10:32:28 PM Mario,

I like the bassline so much. Good choice of pad sounds Cheers Title: Re: The Frisky Spy Post by: elwoodblues1969 on November 16, 2008, 12:14:14 AM L.R.,
