Title: Some more traditional
Post by: offthewall on May 14, 2018, 08:55:11 PM
Another delve into Traditional Folk song.
This is a Scottish song with lyrics (this version) from 1822.
There have been many incarnations of this song and music over the years as it is about the Rowan or Mountain Ash, a tree which is commonly cited, in many countries of the world, as having magical and healing properties.

All 'real' instruments from me.
Guitars, bouzouki, dulcimer, whistle, fiddle and vocal.

Quite a pleasant little ditty.
