This is just a "I gotta let off some steam" blues jam!
After a month of on the go I just had to sit down, return to my roots and jam.
I am playing the bass and guitar parts with both tracks the first takes.
I hope you like it for what it is - MarioD
Any comments, good, or bad are appreciated.

Nice work Mario. What I like about this is the 'old school' style of playing. Ya gotta know what I mean by that? None of those bells and whistles and impossible contortions that these modern players use. To me they rip the whole soul out of blues music because they are too clever. You got the feel just right, my man.

Thanx a lot James!
Yes I know what you mean. Lots of effects, lots of scale running and lots of shredding and no musical content or melody what so ever.
Ps - I play old school because I am old!

Very cool track! If I may make a suggestion: lose some of the reverb from the drums as it sounds like it was recorded in an entirely different location while the organ and guitar sound really cool and in-your-face.

I like it as well ... but do agree about the drums being "off". I wouldn't worry too much about it. I probably wouldn't have notice if someone else hadn't pointed it out.
Being a tad picky, I did find it a bit repetitive after awhile. But, that's the way most songs go today.

Thanx bvdp for listening and the comments. Yes it is a little repetitive but again this was just a jam. I did not try for make it a song per say. Plus I had a tendency to repeat myself. Plus I had a tendency to repeat myself
