My throat feels like I had 6 miles of bad road dragged through it, the drummer is now drooling equally out of both sides of his mouth,so at least we know the stage is level, and you can actually understand the singer now.
Wyatt,
Interesting you mention the drummer, because now that the vocal is "tres punk", and the guitar is right for the genre, some attention to the percussion will get you ...
downtown.
Punk drummers generally love the snare and cymbals, hit a tom occasionally for effect, and don't have much to do with the kick drum other than one hit at the beginning of each bar. Map out a basic little drum groove in Hammerhead with these criteria in mind, and you'll have yourself quite a legitimate slice of punkdom.
Oi
Oren..
Thanks a lot for the advice. I am pretty much clueless at kit..so, as per usual, I reached for the gongas.
This will help a whole lot..I was going to drop this one like a hot rock, but I came this far, and I can HammerHead, so it is going to be cool to actually get it right.
