I keep telling folks that I really don't want their money ... and then I put up Google ads on my web pages. And, honestly, in the past they have helped in keeping my out of pocket expenses in keeping MMA (and other projects) on line for sharing. But, the last year or so the revenue from Google ads is actually turning out to be more a bother than a bonus. So, I've signed up with the nice folks at "But Me A Coffee" and have a little <buy me a coffee> message on the top of my web pages. I hope you find this less intrusive AND that, if you find my "stuff" useful, that you can send me a dollar or two.

I started using Kofi for my ChordPro development and it really helps. Like you, I do the development for fun but servers and network cost real money.

Never noticed the ads ... well ... that's due to things like ad block :) Which don't work on all platforms :) You should have turned it off and had a look! Google was turning the whole site into an unholy mess!

I looked at both koki and buymecoffee ... in the end it really turned out to be a coin toss.

Just noticing that I'm still getting some pennies from google. Man oh man, are they hard to divorce! Had to sift though all my web pages with a bit more care this morning and I think I've finally pruned the "big ad company from the web" out or our lives in my little corner of the cloud :)

Actually I do have a tear-jerker in progress - but rather a futuristic one  ;)
