Title: Overcast Post by: elwoodblues1969 on March 27, 2008, 11:37:06 PM This is the result of not having inspiration for anything at all.......all the percussion in this piece is comprised of household objects that I've sampled...
Title: Re: Overcast Post by: kara on March 28, 2008, 03:43:49 PM Good noises ;D
Gives the track a special aspect, there is a name for a style like this, hmm... it's called industrial 'something', i don't remember by the way thom, did you notice that you lost your avatar ? what went wrong ? can I help ? k Title: Re: Overcast Post by: elwoodblues1969 on March 28, 2008, 04:32:24 PM Glad you like my industrial noise. >:D
With regard to my avatar,I was attempting to insert a photo of myself, but I tried to use a picture from my MySpace account and it did not work. If it is possible to use a photo from my documents or pictures file folder, then I would very much appreciate it if you could help me with that....thanks! Title: Re: Overcast Post by: elwoodblues1969 on March 28, 2008, 11:52:58 PM Will,
This piece is something that I am not especially happy with myself,as I just created it out of sheer boredom and I decided to try something different. Thanks for your input though. :) Thom Title: Re: Overcast Post by: Laguna Rising on March 29, 2008, 10:53:52 AM Well, at first I thought it was just a percussive experiment, but there are pads as well, and a couple interesting atmosphere moments.
This is a cool original piece, and I'm a great supporter of the experimental way in everyone of us Cheers Title: Re: Overcast Post by: Oren on March 29, 2008, 01:45:20 PM This is a cool original piece, and I'm a great supporter of the experimental way in everyone of us Very creative :; Title: Re: Overcast Post by: elwoodblues1969 on March 29, 2008, 06:40:27 PM Thanks fro the comments guys. 8)

Title: Re: Overcast Post by: offthewall on March 29, 2008, 10:10:29 PM Apart from the percs.....I could almost hear Phil Collins making a song out of it!
;) James Title: Re: Overcast Post by: MarioD on March 30, 2008, 12:11:56 AM A very interesting piece of music!
Not my cup of tea but I must say it kept my interest through out the entire piece. Good rhythm ….ah err.. noises and excellent pads. Two thumbs up for being so creative! Title: Re: Overcast Post by: elwoodblues1969 on March 30, 2008, 12:50:59 PM Marc,
