hi All,

this is my first post here, but I have had some activities on the Auditorium forums back to those days.

I'm a member of Renoise team, making music such as progressive rock, ambient, experimental electronica, jazz and classical.

This is time for some classical Smiley

I've just released a new song, "La Rosa dei Venti" (Rose of the Winds), a contemporary classical song which will be part of the concept album "Il Dolore delle Rondini" together with the previously released "Churches of Umbria" and of course some other songs which are in the making.

the song can be downloaded from here
(12'38", Classical, OGG format)

for those who hate the OGG format, there is also an MP3 version available at my Last.fm's page

Any comments appreciated.

Hello IT, glad to see another Renoiser here  Cool
A big welcome to you !

Since I knew you where a Renoiser and renoise is a tracker, I was expecting everything except a song like this   Cheesy

What a composition ! and a great arrangement, allso the production is great
I'm highly impressed, not something you hear everyday

Was this done with samples or vsti's ?

I hope you'll post more here

hi Kara,
thanks for your kind welcome and your appreciations!

the song has been entirely made using Renoise and Native Instruments Kontakt 2 with:

- East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra Gold for ensemble sounds
- Garritan Stradivari Violin for violin solo
- Garritan Gofriller Cello for cello solo
- a lot of tracking skills Wink

Welcome back It-alien !
I still remember some of your efforts in the Progressive section of the 'old' Auditorium

Great production and excellent composition here.
it sounds like it takes many hours of work on arrangements.
Nice touch

Cheers
