 Cheesy
To follow the Crows we have another little bit of fun here.
This one was kicked off by Larry with guitar/bass/lap-steel riff to which Joel supplied lyrics.
I dropped in with the vocal and dobro and some harp sucking.

THE GATOR BOYS song lyrics
by Joel Sattler

Down in Louisiana down the Delta road
back in Atchafalaya where the water's black
there is a settlement where g-men never go
cause if they do they's never coming back

Hunting big lizards like the dinosaurs
don't be asking if you don't know what for
a man's gotta do for his family to be fed
what he's gotta do till the day that he is dead

The gator boys are as tough as they come
the gator boys get bloody for their fun
the gator boys fight dirty when they must
the gator boys have their own form of just…
….ice

The saltmarsh is sinking the bayou's gone to hell
there's something that's dying in the wishing well
here is a place where you oughta to avoid
don't you be messing with the gator boys

The gator boys are damned if they do
the gator boys are damned if they don't
the gator boys don't give an eff for you
there's nothing that you can do if they won't

September is coming the gators gonna die
gotta catch and skin them right where they lie
grind up the meat and add a little salt
gonna make some deep fried alligator balls

The gator boys are as tough as they come
the gator boys get bloody for their fun
the gator boys fight dirty when they must
the gator boys have their own form of just…
….ice

If you have a poem, I have a tune, and we exchange these, we can both have a poem, a tune, and a song.

Thanks for the comments, guys.
I have to admit that the swamp style comes from Larry ... it's his neck o' the woods, and as he started the song off I just had to try and drop into the style  Evil
Course ... great lyrics always help  Cool
