That is what I'm worried about... and to read the license you have to install the software, which I won't do (since i don't have a win daw anymore)
That software business is becomming pretty complicated.
I buy a product, with the product comes a free gift, but I can't give the gift to somebody else???

I'm not sure this is allowed - mostly these products are combined with hardware because of agreements between the software and the hardware manufacturer because both hope to gain something by the deal. By splitting up the products in question you are breaking up this combination and this may violate the license agreement. There should be something about this in the license agreements though that came with the products and alternatively, I really would recommend checking with the software manufacturer if it's ok by them. Some may be more flexible in it than others.
