Title: Preparing the 2008 Kara-Moon Collective CD project Post by: Moon on December 18, 2007, 08:05:40 AM People who know me should realize that I'm serious when I try to make something happen... like for instance making a Kara-Moon-Collective CD. ;)
Good news: I'm planning to do a 2008 project. First step is checking if there is enough interest. So, if you like to participate, please comment here. We need artists willing to donate a songs, we'll need somebody for artwork, mastering, marketing, sponsors (donations). I hope to see many of our first team backing up again, so just get involved and make this happen once again ! Trying to make the sound flow evenly and sonically from all the various contributions on the last CD was one of the toughest music jobs I've done. Big undertaking, lots of hours, but loved it.
We'll see how the song writing comes along. Want to try a theme for this one? As sure as the sun will cross the sky,I am definately up for this project,as I cannot think of a project that I would want to be a part of more, than this one!! ;D I'm assuming this has to be fresh material from scratch?Also,if we are playing on all the aspects of the theme as outlined by Oren,does this require vocals as well? I started out as an artist,before I became a musician,but I'm afraid that I am not all that gifted in the graphic arts-as otherwise,I would love to contribute to the artwork.
