This one has a life of its own. So many styles combined - such a pleasant result!  :-

Mmm. The final mix of this is really good. The balance and clarity of all the parts is faultless. No rough edges left at all.

It's an incredible contrast against the original sketch Kara started with. I would never have imagined it could develop so well.

All the more impressive when you consider the whole thing was mixed and mastered in Audacity... :o

Ahh..but it's the workman, not the tool.

It is an extremely old story. I first heard it at 'story time' in primary school, and yes, it's even older than that  ;D

I have a book called 'Great Short Stories of the World' where they have the oldest know version of each story. It appears in that under 'Ancient Egypt'

You are quite right to have picked up on this one from the past.
It was a great example of collaboration.
As it was included on the 2008 album 'Respect' there is already a fully mastered version available, if you need to use it.
It's nice to see that you are going through the huge back catalogue of songs here, on Kara-Moon.
It has made me realise how much music is here .... somewhere ... waiting for new listeners to discover  :o
