My audigy card was a POS from day one..got rid of that a couple years ago..then EMU discontinued phone support..at least seven people can actually get their cards to work just because they are wizzerd or something...I dumped this company a while back..lots of people dumping them today..whoao.

Seems like they are about to learn what happens when you treat customers like consumers.

Ouch. I sure hope my EMU card doesn't cause me too much trouble.

Reminds me of CME...but nobody is as bad as they are. Not even Creative. Absolutely 0 support. None. Won't help or talk or write to anyone who is using their product.

So, I dropped the worthless USB drivers and using the UF8 directly through midi. Somewhat better, now I only have to deal with the fact that C# and D# play with a higher velosity than the rest, although none can ever get to 127 :o  Same as everyone else with the same board. Too bad too. Great ideas in that board, built like a tank. But, the company won't even acknowledge the issues.

btw, what's the nicest playing stage piano out there? Was playing a Roland RD 700sx the other day and really liked how it plays. Unfortunately, the price is a little steep.

Creative have done a 'Streisand'. Now everyone knows they were shafting their customers by deliberately hobbling hardware so that their customers would have to may more for an 'upgrade'.
