Title: Hi everyone!
Post by: bahgheera on March 19, 2007, 02:25:52 AM
It's been so long since I've posted anything to the auditorium, due to my year long creativity strike... bummer. :(

So here's a track that just sort of fell together suddenly this afternoon. It's not finished, needs to have a detail layer applied and a LOT more variation on the drum track, but you get the general idea. Hopefully I'll go back and finish this one.

Thanks for listening...

EDIT: Ok, no one has noticed apparently. HEY PEEPZ! I DID SOME VOX AND GUITAR AND DRUMS AND STUFF AND... AND STUFF!!! :hehe:

Hey Bahgs!  Like the organ tone. Has a Whiter Shade of Pale vibe (one of my all time favorite tunes). Perhaps needs a little more development, and some vocals would probably be cool.

Let us know if you take it any further. Would def want to hear it!

Nice moody track. Definitely waiting for some vocals to be applied. Could be a good one.

an excellent start. Really lovely organ sound. I'm glad to hear you're not on strike anymore. Hopefully you will comeback to this one and add some embellishments. :)

Lovely Organ and very nice sound and Melody in general... ;)
It's a combination of chords I love to use too..

Very nice, add vocals to it.

Hi bahgheera
Very nice and relaxed mood, I love the melody.
It reminds me a bit of the 1st song on the last John Mayer album.
Nice progression, Keep on.

Cheers

Thanks for the critiques y'all. Glad to see all the familiar faces, especially Van Greco - I still have a rock song that I need to release, never really finished that up with you bud.

Laters...

New version; hold on a mo, I know I can't sing - those vox are just a placeholder until someone with a good voice comes along. So who's up for some black crows style vocals? Anyone? Anyone? :)

Hi Bahgs. Really like it. Great mood. And your singing ain't bad. But it might be worth a try to get Van Greco to sing this one. ;D Don't tell him I told you so.

If I'm not mistaking I think the delay on the guitar is a bit out of sync with the rhythm of the track. I would pan the rhythm guitar a bit left or right. And maybe use a high pass on the guitar (or adjust the guitarsound) to make some room for the bass which seems to get lost a bit.
